7/28/2009 Hildebrand Takes Dominant Victory in Edmonton |

Indianapolis, Ind. - July 27, 2009
J.R. Hildebrand, of Sausalito, California, scored a dominant win from pole position in the inaugural Firestone Indy Lights race at the Edmonton City Centre Airport this past weekend. Hildebrand was quickest in both practice and qualifying, then went on to win Saturday’s race by just over 14 seconds, setting fastest lap along the way. The victory further padded his points lead which now stands at 69 points over teammate Sebastian Saavedra with five races remaining on the schedule. |

DONINGTON CASTLE, ENGLAND (July 20, 2009) – American Josef Newgarden continued his strong run of form in the MSA Formula Ford Championship of Great Britain over the weekend (July 18-19), with another race-winning effort at the Donington Park Motor Racing Circuit. The Joe Tandy Racing rookie finished on the podium in all three races, winning for the fifth time in 2009 en route to moving into second in the title chase. |

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (July 21, 2009) – Dempsey Racing and drivers Joe Foster and Charles Espenlaub raced to a pair of significant milestones in the No. 40 Dempsey Racing Mazda RX-8 at this past weekend’s Porsche 250 presented by Legacy Credit Union Grand-Am Rolex Sports Car Series race at Barber Motorsports Park. Foster qualified a Rolex Series personal and team-best second on Saturday and then joined Espenlaub in finishing fourth in Sunday’s 2-¾ hour sprint, another career high for both Dempsey Racing and its drivers. |

Dartford, Great Britain, July 21, 2009 - Alexander Rossi scored a second place finish in the International Formula Masters series at Brands Hatch, Sunday’s race. Alexander’s second trip to the podium in two race weekends was bittersweet with the news that Henry Surtees, a driver in the Formula 2 series, had been severely injured in the race taking place about 3 hours earlier. Henry, at 18 years of age, died from those injuries and we would like to express our deepest condolences to the entire Surtees family. |
